Job Description

Financial Analyst Charlotte based service company is seeking a Financial Analyst who will be responsible for analyzing past financial performance to predict future performance and make recommendations to the company on its financial strategy. The Financial Analyst is an exempt role that reports directly to the Director of FP&A. Ideal candidate will have corporate financial analyst experience in manufacturing, distribution or service industry. This is a direct hire position paying $62,000-$75,000 annual salary. with benefits based on experience located on the westside of Charlotte close to the airport in Charlotte NC. Responsibilities: Analyzes business and financial data and provides forecasting support. Creates financial models based on analyses to support organization decision making. Develops financial plans and reports for leaders. Prepares and consolidates financial statements. Prepares monthly reports and develops automated reporting tools for more efficient use of data. Partners with leaders in all departments to help interpret financial data and financial performance. Creates presentations of financial planning details. Creates charts and graphs to illustrate financial reports. Studies business and economic trends and makes recommendations based on those trends. Performs other related duties as assigned. Primary Performance Measurements: Reporting 100% accurate and on time. Finance Department goals are achieved Top Characteristics: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Thorough understanding of project management. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets, and accounting software. The ability to manage time well and multitask. Requirements: Travel Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields. 2+ years of experience in financial management as an accountant, auditor, or other related job. Experience with Microsoft Office, Sales Force, Excel Reporting and PowerPoint Skills along with the Microsoft Office and Google suite of products. Ability to oversee and maintain confidential information. High degree of flexibility, organization, and self-motivation.
