Deployment Specialist – TS/SCI Clearance w/CI Poly Required Location Chantilly, VA Job Description Leffler Consulting is seeking a cleared Deployment Specialist to join our team in Chantilly. The position provides deployment support to the agency’s Global Deployment Center (GDC), ensuring that government civilian, military, and contractor personnel traveling on official government business comply with established GDC guidelines. This includes managing a tracking process for workflow requirements, developing and maintaining standard operating procedures, and communicating policies and legislative changes to applicable personnel. An active TS/SCI security clearance with an adjudicated polygraph is required for this role. Duties Analyze, evaluate, assign, monitor progress, and follow to closure office responses to the COTR Serve as the agency’s primary resource for all deployment-related matters for official foreign travel temporary duty (TDY) assignments associated with deployment readiness, including short-notice travel requests, and filling gaps for critical/emergency travel requirements. Ensure all deployment tasks comply with GDC guidelines and established processing timelines Conduct pre-TDY coordination briefings and verify that all travelers have completed required training Process all foreign deployment requests, including monitoring Automated Passport and Country Status (APACS) submissions, securing required country and theater approvals, and verifying country-specific requirements Provide continuing support to deployed personnel worldwide Maintain the action tracking system and relevant databases Coordinate, review, and evaluate responses ensuring quality, timeliness, and accurate responses are achieved. Provide daily deployment reports to senior leaders based on information maintained in tracking systems. Develop standard operating procedures and serve as facilitator for user requirements Interact with management (at multiple organizational levels) and the technical workforce to draft, consolidate, coordinate, and edit internal and external correspondence. Review, interpret, develop, streamline, and communicate policies and procedures that are applicable to the GDC, the agency and IC/DoD community Review, analyze, prioritize, ensure quality control, and approval through appropriate channels for all communications and materials leaving the GDC Manage records created and participate in Agency, Directorate, and Program Office Records Management processes Perform other duties as assigned to support corporate initiatives Skill Set: Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and ensure their completion Ability to work as a team member, sharing information and knowledge, and providing back up support to other multi-functional team members as necessary Ability to work effectively with all levels of employees Ability to communicate requirements to employees responsible for producing responses Required Education Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of relevant work experience or a high school diploma (or GED equivalent) and 10 years of relevant work experience Required Experience Five years of relevant work experience with a bachelor’s degree or 10 years of relevant work experience with a high school degree or GED equivalent Demonstrated experience in one of the following areas: federal acquisitions, Department of Defense (DoD) or the Intelligence Community (IC), and National Security policy Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel Desired Education Refer to “Required Education” #J-18808-Ljbffr Leffler Consulting
