Position: RN-PICU-Pediatrics Intensive Care Unit (Travel/Contract)

Responsibilities
Provide high-quality nursing care to pediatric patients in the PICU.
Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
Stay updated on pediatric care advancements and best practices.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans.
Monitor and assess patient conditions, reporting changes to the healthcare team.
Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures in the PICU.
Assist in achieving departmental targets and quality metrics.
Educate families on care plans and health management for pediatric patients.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.
Utilize evidence-based practices to enhance patient outcomes.
Engage in performance evaluations and feedback sessions to improve skills.
Foster a positive work environment through teamwork and communication.
Experience/Qualifications
Valid RN license in California with pediatric nursing experience.
Strong knowledge of pediatric patient care protocols and best practices.
Experience in PICU or similar critical care environments preferred.
Commitment to continuous professional development and training.
Eagerness to engage in performance evaluations for personal growth.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
Ability to monitor and assess patient conditions effectively.
Familiarity with safety protocols and infection control measures.
Proficient in maintaining accurate patient care documentation.
Strong communication skills for educating families on care plans.
