A K-12 Social Worker position is available within a school setting in Attica, KS, for the upcoming academic year. This role involves providing essential counseling and social work services to students across all grade levels, beginning in August and concluding in May. The position is offered on a contract basis and focuses on supporting the social and emotional well-being of students, helping them overcome obstacles to academic and personal success.

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting assessments to identify student needs related to social, emotional, and behavioral health.
• Collaborating with teachers, parents, and community resources to develop and implement individualized support plans.
• Addressing issues such as attendance, crisis intervention, family support, and conflict resolution.
• Advocating for students and promoting a positive school environment.
• Providing direct counseling services and facilitating small group sessions.
• Implementing evidence-based interventions and monitoring student progress.
