An opportunity is available for a skilled professional to provide essential psychological services in an elementary school setting. This contract position is designed to cover a leave, allowing for focused support to students during their time of need in Maumee, OH.

Qualifications:

• Specialist degree in School Psychology or related field.
• Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
• Experience working in educational settings, particularly with elementary students.
• Strong assessment and intervention skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other professionals.
• Knowledge of special education laws and procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students.
• Develop and implement appropriate intervention strategies.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to support student needs.
• Provide crisis intervention and support for students and families.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and IEP (Individualized Education Program) discussions.
• Deliver professional development workshops for staff on mental health and wellness.
