The Scheduling/Planning Specialist at KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions manages and develops integrated schedules for engineering and construction projects, ensuring the completion of job progress milestones. They coordinate with procurement, engineering, and material managers to optimize project timelines and resource allocation using tools like Microsoft Project and SAP. This role supports energy transition and sustainability initiatives while applying extensive experience in project controls and schedule analysis within a collaborative site team environment.

KBR is looking for a Senior Specialist to solve complex problems requiring detailed knowledge of field and industry best practices in project controls. The incumbent uses experience and problem-solving skills to develop and improve processes.
This position is assigned to a client site team in Corpus Christi, TX. Work will be performed full time at site. No relocation or per diem will be offered. This role is an integrated role in an already stablished Site team.
Functional job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Ensures the development and completion of job progress milestones through scheduling.
Coordinates with procurement and material managers as well as engineering work group leads pertaining to essential items of supply.
Develop & monitor overall & integrated schedules for industrial engineering projects.
Develop resource loading plans, monitor work measurement progress, coordinate with disciplines to analyze deliverables sequencing and earned value system.
Provides priorities for projects to guarantee completion.
Contributes to forecasts and disbursements by performing schedule analysis.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree
Engineering Degree preferred
5+ years scheduling/planning experience on engineering/construction projects
Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Project as preferred
Requires working knowledge of sequencing engineering and construction activities
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Access
Excellent communication skills and ability to function within a project team
