Safety Representative - Night Shift - Phoenix, AZ

Austin Commercial is currently seeking a Safety Representative for the Night Shift for our Phoenix, AZ Division. Responsibilities:

• Builds working relationships with project staff and subcontractor safety representatives
• Enforces safety programs and related policies and procedures
• Creates accurate safety reports and accident investigation documents
• Provides and participates in staff safety training and subcontractor development
• Attends seminars, lectures and training classes to maintain all applicable certifications in safety-related subjects
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• 3-6 years safety experience in construction industry
• Current on the following training and/or certifications: OSHA 30, CPR and First Aid
• Ability to work overnight
• Sufficient knowledge of construction processes and procedures
• Strong communication skills and possesses the ability to have crucial conversations
• Thoroughness and reliability
• Excellent time management skills
