The Center for Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Surgery Center is seeking a Pre-Testing RN for a part-time position.
The Center for Sports Medicine & Orthopaedics has opened a new state of the art Ambulatory Surgery Center. This 10 OR suite ASC is the largest in the state of Tennessee. We have been Chattanooga's leading provider of multi-specialty orthopaedic care since 1979. We are seeking highly skilled individuals who seek to advance their careers in Orthopaedic Surgery.
We do not take call or work on holidays.

Responsible for conducting comprehensive virtual preoperative assessments to ensure patients are medically optimized and fully prepared for upcoming surgeries or procedures. Working from home, the RN gathers medical histories, reviews diagnostic results, verifies testing requirements, obtains necessary documentation and clearances, and educates patients about their upcoming procedures. The Pre-Testing RN communicates with physicians, anesthesia providers, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate safe and effective care via EHR (electronic health records), phone, and video technologies to complete all assessments and documentation remotely.
RN license required.
Excellent customer service skills required.
