Part-Time Pediatric Neurology Physician Assistant (part time)

Location: Bethesda, MD

Schedule: Mon&Fri 8:00am-5:00pm; flexibility on third day (8:00am-5:00pm)

About the Practice

Our practice specializes in the diagnosis and management of a wide range of pediatric neurological conditions. With a patient-centered approach, we provide comprehensive care and advanced diagnostics, EEGs, to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage pediatric neurological conditions such as epilepsy, headaches/migraines, developmental delays, neuromuscular disorders, movement disorders, and concussion management.
• Perform and interpret EEGs in collaboration with the physician.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Educate patients and families on neurological conditions, treatments, and long-term management strategies.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.

Qualifications

• Physician Assistant: PA-C certification.
• Active Maryland license or willingness to obtain.
• Preferred: Experience in Neurology and/or Pediatrics.
• Open to stellar new graduates with interest in Neurology
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

The salary range for this role is $90,000-$125,000 in base pay and exclusive of any bonuses or available benefits (medical, dental, vision, life, , 401K, paid time off, and/or other wellness programs). The base pay offered will be determined based on relevant factors such as experience, education, and geographic location and benefits vary by practice.
