Key Responsibilities: - Foster and assist in facilitating the intellectual and social development of our K-12 students and families
- Implement best practices in childhood and family engagement
- Facilitate social-emotional, child development learning programs
- Provide therapeutic interventions for students with special needs
- Collaborate with school leaders to support children and families
- Document efficiently using electronic health records and school-based platforms
- Engage in data-informed, evidence-based practices
Qualifications Ideal Candidates Have: - Master's Degree in Social Work
- Certified or eligible for certification in Maryland and/or Washington DC at the LMSW, LGSW,or LCSW-C level
- Hold or be eligible for a Social Worker certificate in Maryland and/or Washington DC (Can be applied for post-hire)
- Certified or eligible for certification in crisis management.
- Certified or eligible for certification in CPR/First Aide
- Passion for working with children with diverse abilities
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
