ECU Health Physicians and ECU Health Neurology-Greenville are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide general neurological care in their practice located in Greenville, North Carolina.
Nationally recognized by Beckers Healthcare as a top 100 program for neurosurgery, ECU Healths Neuroscience Program uses a multidisciplinary approach to provide a range of services to include diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of patients with neurological disorders. The hospital has specialty-trained staff in nursing, neurology, general neurosurgery, pediatric neurosurgery, vascular and endovascular neurosurgery, complex spine surgery, neuroradiology (including 24/7 in-house neuroradiology coverage), neuro-critical care, and neuro-oncology. ECU Health Medical Center, our 974-bed level 1 trauma center and Joint Commission-certified comprehensive stroke center, serves as the hub for advanced neurological care in Eastern North Carolina and is home to a 24-bed Neuroscience ICU unit.
ECU Healths established clinical neuroscience team includes 10 neurosurgeons, including dual-trained cerebrovascular specialists and 20+ neurologists including an interventional neurologist, 4 vascular neurologists, 4 neurointensivists, and 13 subspecialty neurologists. Our neuroscience program is also heavily supported by 10 dedicated Neuro ICU APPs, 4 stroke APPs, 1 vascular APP, 10 Neurosurgical APPs, and 4 outpatient neurology APPs. The Neuroscience team takes great pride in their patient- and family-centered approach to care, which promotes optimization of patient outcomes.
Job Highlights include: - Employment by ECU Health Physicians
- 8 am - 5 pm, Monday - Friday schedule with 4 hours of weekly administrative time
- No call
- Large referral network including over 185 ECU Health practices and 9 ECU Health owned hospitals
- On-site Infusion Suite
- ACGME neurology residency to start in 2025
- On-site Infusion Suite
- In office lab, EEG, EMG and Nerve Conduction
- Applicants will be required to have BLS certification from The American Heart Association
