Multi‑Axis CNC Machining Technician

Location: Greensboro, NC

When you clock in, you’ll review the day’s build list, pull up drawings and CAD files, and prepare your workstations. You’ll set up multi-axis CNC mills and lathes, verify tooling, zero your work offsets, and run first-article parts. Throughout the shift you’ll monitor tool wear, adjust feeds and speeds, and verify that every part meets spec. You’ll partner with teammates to troubleshoot any production hiccups, perform routine machine care, and keep your bay clean and safe.

• Set up and operate CNC equipment to produce components to print.
• Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and CAD outputs to plan machining steps.
• Watch cycle performance and make real-time adjustments to uphold quality standards.
• Complete routine maintenance to keep machines running at peak performance.
• Inspect parts using precision metrology tools and document results.
• Collaborate across shifts to identify root causes and resolve production issues.
• Maintain 5S standards and follow all safety regulations.

• High school diploma or equivalent; machining trade school or technical certification preferred.
• Hands-on experience as a CNC Machinist or comparable role.
• Fluency in reading technical documents, drawings, and blueprints.
• Solid grasp of CNC programming fundamentals and machine setups.
• Comfort with precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
• Strong individual ownership with the ability to contribute effectively on a team.
• Meticulous attention to detail and a passion for quality.
• Resourceful problem-solving and a proactive mindset.
