Job Title: Live Auctioneer

Dept: Warehouse

Reports To: VP of Operations (Jeremy Wilkinson)

Hours: 40 hours a week, flexible schedule as long as times of auctions are optimal

Pay: Salaried, willing to negotiate DOE

Job Summary

This job is a front of camera role for the purpose of selling knives and related products on live selling platforms including WhatNot, eBay, and other similar systems. The person in this role is expected to be engaging and charismatic with the audience to sell products in a high energy environment. The person in this role is also expected to be able to read and process key performance indicators to ensure that they are getting impactful results and evolving and growing Blade HQ's presence in the market. The right fit for this job would be a person who is passionate about the products and enthusiastic about interacting with the audience in an authentic way to build a loyal customer base.

Tasks

• Planning and executing semi-daily live shows including setting up sets and products to sell
• Pre and Post show preparation for live shows
• Pulling product based on data and reporting to then feature on the platform for sale
• Producing a high-quality live stream that engages the audience
• Moderating and managing customer feedback and questions
• Managing and tracking data so that success is measurable and clear
• Creating reports to deliver to various stakeholders
• Coordinating with various departments with great communication skills to ensure success

Physical Demands

• Dress code standards that include either Blade HQ, knife related branded attire, or non-descript attire.
• Professional in speech and language, avoiding cursing and foul language
• Walking and standing for 8 hours on concrete floors.
• Occasionally bending and lifting up to 25 lbs
• Safe handling of knives and other edged cutting tools.
• Looking at a computer screen for long periods of time

Work Environment

• Warehouse environment with concrete floors and occasional fluctuations of temperature

Educations and Experience

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Knife knowledge is required
• Must have high school diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Some on camera or broadcast experience preferred.
