*Description*
Our client is a Technology Service Provider in Westchester and Rockland Counties. This client has a team comprised of a team of junior network specialist who contribute to the software and hardware troubleshooting of equipment in the environment. Equipment / Hardware includes but is not limited to: Chromebooks, PCs, Windows devices, iPads, and various other technologies. This candidate will report to an Information Technology Team Lead who supports the team and its staff members. In addition to having strong technical skills and foundational IT knowledge, candidates will need to have excellent communication and inter-personal skills. The environment will require this person to work well with end users, leadership, and executives such as the Director of Technology.
The following experience is strongly encouraged for this assignment:
* Proficient in Windows software (Windows 10 / Windows 11)
* Knowledge of troubleshooting email related issues
* Knowledge of workstation setup and installs.
* Ability to install network operation systems and perform simple upgrades to the network
* Strong Knowledge on troubleshooting and setting up workstation systems such as desktops and PC's
* Knowledge of configuring and managing network-based user profiles (Active Directory or other Directory Service tools)
* General network experience with connecting printers, adding users, removing users, grouping, etc.

* Routing and Switching experience
* Manage switch configuration and troubleshooting
* LAN/WAN experience
*Additional Skills & Qualifications*
Certifications are not mandatory but A+ and/or Net+ (CCNA) are nice to have

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr.
