Youth Future LA is a grassroots fundraising and organizing hub supporting Arthur Dixon for Congress (CA-34). We train volunteers and fundraisers to power a people-driven campaign for housing justice, climate action, and economic dignity.
Position Summary
We’re seeking a Finance / Fundraising Director to lead a growing national team of commission-based fundraisers and help build the small-donor operation fueling one of the most energetic youth-led movements in Los Angeles. You’ll coordinate call-time strategy, manage daily donation tracking, and work directly with the candidate on fundraising systems, messaging, and goals.
Responsibilities
• Supervise and train a team of 5–15 remote fundraisers
• Track and report daily and weekly donation totals
• Segment donor lists and oversee CRM / spreadsheet organization
• Write and test short fundraising emails or text messages
• Collaborate with Communications and Field teams to align outreach with campaign narrative
• Represent the campaign’s values with integrity and professionalism
Qualifications
• Political, nonprofit, or sales management experience preferred
• Strong organization and leadership skills
• Comfort with Google Sheets, CRMs, and call-tracking tools
• Excellent communication and writing ability
• Passion for grassroots fundraising and progressive values
Compensation & Schedule
• Volunteer or commission-based to start (5–10% of funds raised directly or by team)
• Converts to paid retainer ($2,000–$20,000 / month) once funding milestones are reached
• Flexible hours; remote work encouraged
