Job Description

KEES has been exclusively retained by NCTV17 in its search for an Executive Director. NCTV17 Executive Director Reporting to and partnering with the Board of Directors, the NCTV17 Executive Director (ED) will be a visionary and strategic manager to propel the organization into its next chapter of growth and impact. The successful candidate will be a progressive thinker who incorporates innovative strategies to enhance programming and ensure NCTV17 continues to serve as a vital community asset. A key priority for the next leader will be to significantly expand fundraising efforts and cultivate diverse revenue streams to support long-term sustainability. This individual will have the courage to make bold decisions in the face of uncertainty and the foresight to anticipate future trends in media and community engagement. Some specific requirements include: A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in leadership and management, with documented ability to manage staff, lead teams, and partner with a Board of Directors. Nonprofit experience preferred but not required. A proven ability to identify, cultivate, and secure diverse funding streams, including individual donors, corporate sponsorships, grants, and philanthropic partnerships. This includes a passion for telling NCTV17’s story to potential supporters and a track record of meeting fundraising goals. Connection and knowledge within the Naperville community, its history, and stakeholders. Ideally, the next Executive Director will live in, work in, or have been closely connected to Naperville and understand the community and its unique network of relationships. Passion for telling stories that engage and connect the community, preserving the reputation of being a local gem among Naperville residents. Compensation for this position was recently benchmarked by NCTV17 and KEES and is in the fair market range. The salary range for this position is anticipated ± $135,000 along with benefits, including health, dental, and generous paid time off.
