DescriptionWe are looking for a highly motivated and mechanically inclined Direct Mail Production Operator to join our fast-paced manufacturing team. This position is responsible for operating or assisting in a direct mail production environment, with a strong focus on reducing cost-related errors, exceeding client expectations, and maintaining a safe and efficient workspace.If you have experience in manufacturing, a strong mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to quality and teamwork - we want to hear from you.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate, adjust, and maintain production equipment based on job instructions.Ensure production output meets or exceeds performance and quality standards.Perform equipment troubleshooting and resolve issues to minimize downtime.Communicate production status and any concerns during shift changes.Follow all safety policies and procedures, including lock-out/tag-out and HazCom.Adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).Support a culture of continuous improvement by learning new processes and techniques.Work collaboratively across shifts and support team success by taking on additional responsibilities as needed.QualificationsPreferred: 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.Required: High school diploma or GED.Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesStrong manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude.Experience with equipment installation, repair, and preventive maintenance.Ability to troubleshoot production and equipment issues with minimal delay.Physically able to lift 25 lbs regularly and up to 40 lbs occasionally.Comfortable standing on concrete for 10-12 hours and performing repetitive motions.Willing to work overtime as needed; punctual and reliable.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Capable of following both written and verbal instructions.Demonstrated willingness to learn, adapt, and be accountable for quality.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a high-output environment.Why Join Us?Play a key role in a vital production process with impact on client success.Be part of a team that values safety, precision, and continuous improvement.Gain opportunities to grow your skills in a supportive manufacturing setting.
