Job Description

Open to work from home/remote for someone located in one of the following cities: (Pittsburgh, PA, Charleston, WV, Canton, OH ,Bridgeport, WV, Glen Allen, VA.)


Our client is seeking a highly skilled Civil 3D Drafter with a minimum of 5 years of experience who possesses advanced knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D.


As a Civil 3D Drafter, you will work closely with a team of talented designers to provide drawings, permits, and construction packages to our energy clients.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in the creation of Surfaces, Grading, Volumes, Corridors, Assemblies, and Profiles.


Responsibilities

• Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to create and modify civil engineering drawings and designs.
• Generate and maintain accurate Surfaces, Grading, Volumes, Corridors, Assemblies, and Profiles.
• Collaborate with engineers and other team members to ensure project objectives are met.
• Produce drawings, permits, and construction packages in accordance with industry standards and client requirements.
• Perform quality control checks to ensure the accuracy and completeness of drawings and documents.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of CAD standards and procedures.
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in Civil 3D software.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in related area
• 5 to 10+ years of experience as a Civil 3D Drafter.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Strong understanding of civil engineering and design principles.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Driver's License required
• BIM experience preferred
