Job Title: Surgical Technologist - 5K Sign On Bonus
Department: Surgical Services
Pay : $22-$36/hr (depending on experience) + 5K Sign on Bonus!
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Surgical Technologist to join our Operating Room team. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, this role supports surgical and invasive procedures by preparing instruments, maintaining a sterile field, and assisting the surgical team to ensure safe and efficient patient care.
Reports To: Clinical Leader, RN Manager, or Director of Surgical Services

Assist in surgical procedures by setting up and maintaining sterile instruments, supplies, and equipment.
Serve as the scrub person for operative cases, passing instruments and anticipating surgical team needs.
Ensure sterile field integrity and address contamination issues as needed.
Perform counts with the circulating RN to ensure patient safety.
Help clean and turn over ORs between procedures.
Transport used instruments for decontamination and processing.
Follow infection control and universal precaution protocols.
Participate in ongoing training and skill development related to perioperative practices.

Qualifications:
Education:

Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program OR 5 years of surgical tech experience required.

Experience:

1 year of perioperative experience preferred.

Licensure/Certification:

No certification required.
BLS certification (American Heart Association) required within first week of employment and must be maintained.

Skills & Abilities:

Strong understanding of sterile technique and OR workflows.
Positive interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team.
Basic computer proficiency.
Initiative in maintaining job-related expertise.
