Position Description
Job Title: Assistant to the Principal & Advancement Director
FLSA: Non-Exempt
Job Status: Full Time/Part Time
Reporting Functions: Reports to Principal
Job Function: To provide administrative support to the school Principal. This may include, but is not limited to, general clerical duties, receptionist duties and project-based work in the absence of the school secretary. Also directs fundraising, marketing and advancement programs for St. Joseph the Worker School, this includes but is not limited to, the annual appeal, annual auction and elementary school bonding programs as well as managing alumni relations.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee is continuously interacting with the public, staff and students. The employee frequently must meet multiple demands from several people.
Working Conditions: Elementary school environment; School working hours are 7:45 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. May be required to work in excess of normal work hours to attend meetings, events or due to non-routine or emergency situations that may arise.
