Your Role and Responsibilities - Performing thorough patient assessments, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and developing personalized care plans
- Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions in cooperation with physicians or independently, as per your credentials
- Educating patients and their families about preventive measures, wellness tips, and disease management strategies
- Prescribing medications and therapies within your scope of practice
- Engaging in patient follow-ups and managing chronic care effectively
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure integrated, comprehensive patient care
- Maintaining accurate and complete documentation in electronic medical records (EMR)
Qualifications Needed - Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
- Graduated from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Essential Certifications - Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Idaho
- National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or a comparable specialty
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
