Job Description

Salary: $108,000 – $150,000

Location: Remote (U.S. based, up to 40% travel)

Position Summary

We’re looking for a driven and strategic Account Manager to support our growing National Security portfolio. In this role, you’ll work directly with U.S. Defense and Intelligence organizations to communicate the value of our cutting-edge remote sensing solutions. You’ll help build strong customer relationships, support proposal and capture activities, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver outstanding results. Essential Job Functions And Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Sales Directors to support business development and customer acquisition strategies
  • Drive program growth and capture activities to help meet revenue targets
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key Defense and Intelligence stakeholders
  • Clearly communicate how our offerings address mission-critical needs and add long-term value
  • Serve as the voice of the customer to ensure internal alignment and continual improvement
  • Partner with technical and operational teams to ensure customer satisfaction and delivery excellence
  • Respond to ad hoc inquiries from potential Defense and commercial customers
  • Travel within the U.S. (up to 40%) to build relationships and support strategic initiatives

Required Qualifications:

  • 8-10 years of experience in business development, account management, sales, or business capture
  • Excellent interpersonal, listening, and communication skills
  • Familiarity with modern presentation tools and techniques; comfort with technical presentations; ability to distill complex topics to readily-understood proposals delivered to individuals and groups, from senior decision makers to working-level collaborators
  • Experience with geospatial products and services
  • Must have active TS/SCI clearance
  • Ability to travel within the United States (up to 40%) and occasionally abroad
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business field

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated success growing accounts and securing new business
  • Understanding of U.S. Government acquisition processes (e.g., FAR)
  • Prior experience working with organizations such as NGA, DoD, DIA, or NRO
  • Ability to anticipate customer needs and create mutually valuable outcomes
  • Experience in startup or scale-up environments within the defense or aerospace sectors
